To book one of our pods you must be 18 years old or over.
If you have booked direct, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you book through a third party provider then you must contact them to discuss the change.
To secure your luxury glamping getaway, we require a non-refundable deposit of £75 at the time of booking. If you book direct with the Southwell Retreat the remaining balance will then be due 7 days prior to your arrival.
We welcome one small dog 10kg or under in our Daisy or Lily pods. There is a small pet charge of £10 payable to the site upon arrival. We kindly ask that guests adhere strictly to our house pet guidelines during their stay.

It’s a wonderful, eco-friendly wood-fired hot tub!
Your hot tub can be pre-heated and waiting for you upon request. It is beautifully warmed by a traditional wood burner. A starter supply of logs is included, giving you around one to two hours of blissful soaking time. Should you wish to keep the fire crackling and enjoy the tub throughout your stay, extra log packs can be purchased directly on-site for £10.

We love seeing our guests relax and enjoy themselves, and we appreciate your help in keeping our site a peaceful retreat. To respect the comfort of all our glampers, our quiet hours run from 10pm to 9am. We invite you to enjoy your evening, but ask that any outdoor socialising or music moves to a soft, quiet level after 10pm.
Yes. Children may use the hot tub with the permission of the site owner and must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times to ensure their safety.
We have taken care of almost everything so you can travel light! Your luxury pod is fully equipped with bedding, towels, and everyday essentials. For a complete list of what is included, please view our detailed Pod Information pages.
To make your stay completely seamless, we simply recommend packing:
- Footwear: Flip-flops or outdoor sandals (perfect for slipping on and off when using your hot tub).
- Refreshments: Fresh milk or your preferred milk alternatives for your coffee or tea.

This charming Georgian market town is brimming with independent boutiques, artisan bakeries and cozy cafes. It is the perfect place to pick up local treats, enjoy a relaxed brunch, evening meal, or explore the breathtaking Southwell Minster.
Sorry no. Our pods are designed to be a peaceful sanctuary where you can fully switch off, reconnect with nature, and enjoy uninterrupted quality time. (Don’t worry, though—there is good mobile network coverage on-site if you do need to log online!)
To keep our pods beautifully fresh and safe for all of our guests, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside. You are more than welcome to smoke or vape in your private outdoor living areas. We kindly ask that you use the provided outdoor bins to safely dispose of all ash and cigarette ends.
